Changing Minds Foundation is a recently formed non-profit organization dedicated to improving the mental ability of persons with Down Syndrome - NOW -with available medical treatments and proper education. This includes supporting clinical trials to move these treatments from demonstrated ideas to reality where ever possible. Researchers are doing a bang up job uncovering pieces of the DS puzzle and it is time to integrate some of the advanced ideas found in the laboratories into the clinical setting to support a world of new opportunities for individuals with DS.
