There is the need to push discoveries from the laboratory to the clinic. I personally have the most brilliant pediatrician willing to read and think about new approaches to treating his patients. The most difficult part has been to educate physicians. We all have doctors monitoring  our children. But it seems by the emails I receive that it is very difficult to find an open minded physician. We are in the process of putting a doctors package together. Another mother across the country, who was formerly a pharmaceutical rep, is helping to write the piece so that your physician might read it. One piece of advice, if your doctor refuses to even read the information, move on to another doctor.
